What is HappyHorse AI?
HappyHorse AI (also known as Happy Horse AI, HappyHorse 1.0, or Happy Horse) is a next-generation AI video generator that ranked #1 on Artificial Analysis in April 2026. It delivers native 1080p resolution, advanced motion synthesis, and breakthrough multi-shot storytelling capabilities.
HappyHorse 1.0 is developed by Alibaba's ATH AI Innovation Unit, led by Zhang Di (former VP of Kuaishou and technical lead of the Kling video model). The model first appeared anonymously on the Artificial Analysis Video Arena on April 7, 2026, and quickly topped the leaderboard through blind community voting. Alibaba confirmed ownership on April 10, 2026.
Unlike traditional AI video generators that use separate models for video and audio, HappyHorse 1.0 is a unified multimodal model that generates video and audio together in a single pass. This architecture enables natural synchronization between visual content and sound — sound effects, background music, and dialogue are all generated alongside the video.

Where Can You Try HappyHorse AI?
As of April 2026, HappyHorse 1.0 is not yet publicly available for general use. The model has been demonstrated on the Artificial Analysis leaderboard through blind evaluation, but public API access and downloadable model weights have not been released.
Technical specifications: According to reports, HappyHorse 1.0 generates 1080p video in approximately 38 seconds on an NVIDIA H100 GPU. Lower resolution outputs can be generated significantly faster. The model supports multiple aspect ratios including 16:9, 9:16, 1:1, and 4:3.
